Questions: Why do patients participate?
Answer: Patients recognize that their rheumatologist cares enough about their care to be complete and gather data every 3 months on a complete review of systems, as well as their level of function as reflected in their visual analogue scale and mHAQ. They fully understand that the CORRONA system allows their physician to take better care of them and monitor their disease process and treatment regimens than would be the case if they did not participate.

Question: How do you use my information on the forms?
Answer: The information collected is verified for accuracy and anonymity, then entered in to the CORRONA Core Registry database.

Question: How long will I have to fill out the forms?
Answer: Data is continually collected as long as you are willing to participate.  Patient care is constantly changing as new treatments emerge.  Your participation gives us a broader scope of current medications, changes in your response to them, and any drug switches. 

Question: How can these forms help me with my own health care?
Answer: Completing the patient section of the forms helps each patient to recall their own events during the time since you last completed a form.  This is a tool for you to use to better communicate with your rheumatologist and help continue or make changes to your therapy.

CORRONA, Inc. respects all academic institution affiliations. CORRONA pays a maximum overhead rate of 25% for Consultation. CORRONA does not pay overhead for participation as an affiliate site in the various data collection programs.
