The IT Infrastructure Service Manager is responsible for effectively managing end-users support services, infrastructure and software asset management by utilizing vendors in an effective way to ensure IT services are delivered according to the expectations
Duties and Responsibilities:
Effectively manage the overall delivery success of IT services delivered by 3rd party partner/vendor to ensure IT services are delivered according to expectations
Establishes effective customer relationships, provide a high standard of customer service and support to onsite and offsite users.
Software asset management: optimizing software management, maintain license compliance and manage IT Assets, deployment, maintenance, utilization, and disposal of software applications within an organization.
Oversee the business applications ( technical only) for ClicData, Clarizen etc.
Maintain security compliance & data storage management
Understands the specific IT goals and needs of the business, function, and represents those needs to the 3rd party suppliers/partners delivering the associated products/services
Help with setup, troubleshooting, maintenance, training, network setup, maintain software licenses and compliance, and general help across a wide variety of IT-related needs, contact with outside vendors, giving business-owners a single point of contact to resolve any problem, no matter what needs attention.
Provide onsite support at Waltham office at least three days a week with Tuesday and Thursday being two of the days.
Establish Policies and Procedures for Key IT Processes to ensure consistent and effective customer service
Help identify opportunities for cost savings and optimization improvements, review infrastructure inventories, manage software assets, license schedule maintenance & upgrades, security patches, single sign-on, data encryptions, and data management.
AWS infrastructure management and lead cloud migration efforts.
Perform other tasks as assigned by Sr. Director of Data Integration & Systems.
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or other related technical field required
7+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure architecture and maintenance, including extensive experience managing workspace infrastructure (desktops/laptops/tablets)
Proven track record in managing projects around IT Service and Vendor Management.
Experience in AWS infrastructure and migration.
Excellent organizational skills and strong focus on quality, accuracy and productivity.
Ability to take ownership and work with minimum direct supervision/guidance
Superior verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work as part of a team and independently
