It is the policy of Corrona, LLC (“Corrona”) to respect and protect the privacy of users of Corrona.org (the “Site”). Corrona is committed to adhering to federal and state privacy laws and industry guidelines in order to protect the identity of the Site users. This Privacy Policy is a part of the Terms & Conditions [http://www.corrona.org/terms] of the Site, which are binding on all Site users, and describes how we handle the information of users of the Site. Please be sure to read this entire Privacy Policy before using the Site.

Please be aware that this Privacy Policy refers to use of the Site as distinct from participation in any of the Corrona programs and services described on the Site (the “Services”), which may be subject to greater privacy protections.

Corrona aspires to build users’ trust and confidence in the Internet by promoting fair information practices. Accordingly, Corrona provides this Policy to inform visitors to the Site what personally identifiable information (“Personal Information”) is being gathered and for what purpose Corrona intends to use such Personal Information. Collection and Use of Personal Information

You may browse the Site without providing any Personal Information. We do not collect Personal Information about you except when you specifically and knowingly provided it. In collecting Personal Information, we limit our use to the reasons given in this Privacy Policy for collection of the Personal Information.

We use your Personal Information to provide you with the services you request and to respond to questions related to Corrona, the Site, or the Services. We may also use your Personal Information to notify you about updates, action alerts, new features, and activities on behalf of Corrona or the Site that may be of interest to you. If you do not want to receive such communication from Corrona, you may opt out of communications, as described below.

From time to time, we may post information about job opportunities on the Site. If you are interested in learning more about these opportunities, you can submit a resume and a cover letter. Applications will be handled by our employment committee and we will make reasonable efforts to review the applications in a timely fashion. We will share your application with members of Corrona staff to assess your qualifications. We will not distribute or share any Personal Information submitted for consideration in relation to employment with any third party without your consent.

The Site may passively collect certain information using various technologies and means. We may receive and record Internet Protocol (“IP”) addresses in the normal course of operation of the Site. While we may receive and record IP addresses, we will not use them to identify you personally or disclose them to others. Navigational data related to user visits to the Site use may be also be recorded for system management and in order to improve the content of the Site.

We may also use your information for operational and business purposes, or to find out how we can improve our organization and Site via surveys or online tracking mechanisms. Your Right to Review and Correct Your Personal Information

You may contact Corrona by sending an e-mail including the subject line of “Personal Information Request” to info@corrona.org to ask if we are keeping Personal Information about you. If we do have Personal Information about you, we will provide you with a readable copy of such Personal Information at no charge. Factual errors in your Personal Information, including out-of-date information, can be corrected by sending a request to info@corrona.org that credibly shows our error.

Opt-Out Procedures

You may always opt out of receiving communications from us by clicking on the removal link provided at the bottom of every e-mail sent by Corrona and changing your e-mail preference. [Confirm]

Certain Personal Information including certain information about your medical records may be available to you through the secure login portion of the Site hosted by OmniComm Systems, Inc. Such Personal Information may also be subject to the privacy rules under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and other applicable U.S. laws.

The Site may contain links to the websites of third parties not affiliated with Corrona. You understand, acknowledge, and agree that these links are provided solely as a convenience to you and not as an endorsement by the Site or Corrona of the content, advertising, or business practices of the third parties. Corrona is NOT responsible for the privacy practices or the content on any other websites, including any websites that may indicate a special relationship or “partnership” with Corrona. Corrona does not disclose unique identifiers to those responsible for the linked websites. The linked websites, however, may collect Personal Information from you when you link to their websites. This collecting of information is not subject to the control of Corrona. To ensure protection of your privacy, always review the privacy policies of the websites you visit by linking from the Site.

Security of Information

We work hard to protect the integrity of the Personal Information we collect, and the importance of security for all Personal Information associated with our Site users is of utmost concern to us. Changes to this Privacy Policy

Corrona may revise this Privacy Policy over time as new features are added to the Site or as Internet law and standards evolve. We will post those changes prominently but we do recommend that you read this Privacy Policy each time you visit the Site. Changes will not apply retroactively to Personal Information that was collected before the changes to the Privacy Policy, except as may be required by law.
